YOUNG REMBRANDTSYoung Rembrandts is a nationally recognized children’s drawing program and is taught by one of our certified, trained staff instructors. At Young Rembrandts, we teach drawing, the fundamental skill of all visual arts. No lessons repeated. Supplies included.

PRESCHOOL DRAWINGAges 3 - 5yrsIf your preschooler has expressed an interest in drawing, they will LOVE Young Rembrandts drawing classes. Our lessons will strengthen our students’ core drawing skills as we introduce them to wonderful seasonal imagery. In September, lesions like acorns, fall leaves, and an apple tree will build into their skills and creativity. Playful characters will be our focus in October as we draw a clown, a scarecrow, and an imaginary monster inspired by a classic children’s story. In November we learn about Native American culture as our students draw a headdress and totem pole. A fun robot will excite your little one as they create a colorful character that is filled with personality. Drawings of gingerbread cookies and houses arrive just in time for the upcoming holidays.

CARTOON DRAWING CLASSESAges 6-13 yrsDoes your child have a great sense of humor? If so, your child will LOVE Young Rembrandts Cartoon class. Our students will draw various cartoon characters while they learn important drawing techniques. In Session 1, sports-related drawings like our soccer and Tae Kwon Do lesson will instruct our students to create action-inspired imagery. We’ll excite their imaginations as we transform sweet candies into fully-realized cartoon characters. During Session 2, we will have fun with dogs and cats as we draw wonderful canine and feline- inspired scenes. Dynamic characters will be the focus of our football action poses. Animal lovers will be delighted to draw their favorite furry friends in our hamster circus and pet care drawing lessons. We also have holiday-themed drawings arriving just in time for the season.

PLAYHOUSE IN THE PARK, OFF THE HILL PRODUCTIONSPerformed by Playhouse in the Park

ROSES AND THORNS (A TALE OF BEAUTY & THE BEAST)By Bret Fetzer

FREE and Open to the Public!Saturday, October 18 Doors open at 6:30 PM Curtain Time 7:00 PM

Enjoy an interactive setting with the Playhouse in the Park actors as they perform.

(A Tale of Beauty & the Beast). The twisted comedy revisits the original story of the beautiful Rose, who sacrifices her won happiness to be the servant of a hideous Beast in order to protect her father and family. Based on the 18th century version of the story-created long before Disney was a household name-the play embraces slapstick, satire and high camp styles even as it explores the darker depths of the tale, which proves that true beauty is always more than skin deep.
