The workshop was co-hosted by the Secretariat of the Minamata Convention and the Government of Bolivia to exchange information on mercury trade between countries of Latin America and the Caribbean region and to support the countries in the implementation of their obligations under the Convention. Following the presentation on the regional perspectives and outcomes of the workshop, two countries will present their national and regional experience and challenges to control and keep track of mercury trades.
