Over the years Bob has enjoyed joining outstanding VIctorian icon singer songwriter Kerri Simpson and her band for many a performance. Kerri knows New Orleans jazz, soul and gospel music because she’s been there and sung with the best of them.

Kerri Simpson’s band is Dean Addison, double bass, Mark Grunden, drums. Bob will be joined by his musical partner, the astounding Mal Sedergreen on saxophone.

Although the name Sedergreen is synonymous with high-energy jazz /blues and other roots music the name Frangou does not easily come to mind. Chris Frangou represents a new breed of young players who seriously study music and show eclectic virtuosity. Chris has studied and toured internationally. Having toured with Chris, Bob knows he is capable of providing sparks of energy and enthusiasm that could lead to an explosive evening of jazz, funk and soul.

Having never been in a Sedergreen led ensemble, Chris has played with the highly regarded drum talents of Darryn Farrugia, but not with the intensely articulated saxophone wizardry of Mal Sedergreen. Their collaboration promises a night of musical revelations.
