What IS blogging?
• “A blog is a frequently updated online personal journal or diary. It is a place to express yourself to the world. A place to share your thoughts and your passions. Really, it’s anything you want it to be. For our purposes we’ll say that a blog is your own website that you are going to update on an ongoing basis. Blog is a short form for the word weblog and the two words are used interchangeably.”

Now What?Promotion Questions to ask yourself Thinking points
Who should you promote to? Who is your audience? Who are you trying to reach?
What are you writing that is worth promotion?
What is your topic/purpose? Review your blog and layout and see if what you are writing matches with what you’re saying you will do.
Where should you promote? Where you promote will depend on your overall motives. If its for Beachbody, everywhere! In general, you be the judge.
When should you promote? Promote once you have 3-4 posts and have built a schedule for yourself to continue posting. Best time is morning (before breakfast) and noon. This is the time most people are on their phones reading.
How often should you promote? This will depend on your audience. Rule of thumb is that it takes someone seeing 7 reminders from you before they start reading your posts. So spread out those reminders and get yourself out there!
