The next few months will be full of academic and co-curricular activities in addition to evaluations and we hope to see inspiring talent emerging from
our classrooms.
Once again our students did us proud with outstanding performances in the board exams. We wish them luck in the choices they make in life. This is
only the beginning. The real test lies beyond the portals of the classrooms when one comes face to face with the stark realities of life. It is indeed a tough
world that we live in. A world charged with strife and competition .There can be no success without trials. ‘Never to give up’ is the mantra our children
should live by. They should be able to use the skills and talents that were honed as St. Marians and nothing should stop them from achieving their goals.
An important thing that we would want our students to remember has been very rightly stated by Andrew Sullivan__
“Errors are inevitable. The mark of a character is not refusing to recognize them but to acknowledge them and accept responsibility.”
We at St. Mary’s firmly believe that accepting responsibility is the true measure of an individual.
Everyone loves success but when we are faced with failure, we refuse to accept it. We make excuses, blame other people or external factors. We forget
that this way we not only distance ourselves from responsibility but also close doors to succeed in anything. If we accept challenges and work in that
direction we shall reach a higher level of existence. We will find ourselves more content and happy. The willingness to accept the responsibility of our
actions is the source from which self-respect springs.
Let’s learn to take responsibility for every deed, word, and thought .We need to train our thought process to acknowledge our weaknesses along with our
strengths So let’s get started and have a wonderful session ahead. Principal
