It merges aspects of e-learning such as: web-based instruction, streaming video, audio, synchronous and asynchronous communication, etc; with traditional “face-to-face” learning (Al-Hunaiyyan, Al-Huwail & Al-Sharhan, 2007).

What had been learned?• Two kinds of learners: active and passive online

learners.• Anything new or noble does not necessarily appeal

to all.• It provided an avenue for learners & teachers to

optimize teaching and learning process. • The least and the last had an avenue to contribute

in the teaching-learning process.• It is of prime importance for the teacher to

know the right blend with the face-to-face learning and online learning.
