ACTIVITY - to experience creative play
• Providing classroom based experience to implement in practice
• Carousel system
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT…• How can the materials be used?• How does this enhance child development?• How do your own reactions to experiences shape those of
the children?• Consider how you want materials to be used?• How much choice and independence is given to children?• How long should children be enabled to play with materials?• What theory links to the play you have experienced?• Write a short summary of two activities and what you
have gained from these and will now implement in placement.
Post these summaries on the module discussion board according to your group allocation. Read the posts within your group and comment on one person’s post.
