Being Active•You should be
active a MINIMUM of 15 minutes a day
•You can go for walks, go on bike rides, skateboard, play soccer, hockey, dance, etc.

• Being ACTIVE is GOOD exercise for your heart and lungs
• You meet NEW friends and get to hang out with your FRIENDS.
Good Nutrition• Remember to eat
from all FOUR food groups
• Remember you can eat ALL types of food, but to eat in moderation
• Make SMART food Choices
Good Food Choices• Choose MOST OFTEN
• Choose SOMETIMES
• Choose LEAST OFTEN
FOODS to Choose MOST OFTEN•These are the BEST types of foods.
•They are the MOST healthy and give you all the RIGHT types of nutrients

YOU CAN still eat.
•But you should only choose them SOMETIMES
FOODS to Choose LEAST OFTEN •Junk Food should
be chosen LEAST often
•You can have it ONCE in awhile, NOT all the time.
Portion Sizes• Keep your meals
REASONABLE size.
• YOUR plate should NOT be heaping full.
• Make sure you are eating
ENOUGH
• Eat until your are FULL, not stuffed.
• It is BETTER to eat many small meals, rather than a couple of large ones.
Positive Social Environment• EVERYONE likes to hear a
positive comment.
• WE need to try and be more positive with eachother.
• Help fill up our “BUCKETS!”
• Make them overflow with POSITIVES!
