WORSHIP IN SONG: Because of Covid-19, we ask that when the congregation sings hymns, we do so softly or simply hum. We know we want to lift our voices to God in worship, but we want to continue to do our roles in helping to not spread the virus.
COVID-19 PROCEDURES: To try to stop the spread of Covid-19, we ask that you
please exit the building immediately after worship.
UPPER ROOM DEVOTIONALS for September-October are available in the box out-side the church entrance…(Regular and Large print) Offering envelopes for regular giving as well as the Sanctuary project are available on the table next to the church office (if you need one during worship services). SUNDAY’S HYMNS . . . Seek Ye First w/ God of Grace & Glory - p.405
1. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness And all these things shall be added unto you Allelu Alleluia
2 Ask and it shall be given unto you Seek and ye shall find Knock and it shall be opened unto you Allelu Alleluia
God Of Grace and Glory … p.577 1. God of grace and God of glory, on thy people pour thy power; crown the ancient church's story; bring its bud to glorious flower. Grant us wisdom, grant us courage, for the facing of this hour, for the facing of this hour.
2. Lo! the hosts of evil round us, scorn thy Christ, assail his ways! From the fears that long have bound us, free our hearts to love and praise. Grant us wisdom, grant us courage, for the living of these days, for the living of these days.
3. Cure thy children's warring madness, bend our pride to thy control; shame our wanton, selfish gladness, rich in things and poor in soul. Grant us wisdom, grant us courage, lest we miss thy kingdom's goal lest we miss thy kingdom's goal
4. Save us from weak resignation to the evils we deplore; let the search for thy salvation be our glory evermore. Grant us wisdom, grant us courage, serving thee whom we adore serving thee whom we adore.
Majesty (Here I Am)
Here I am, humbled by Your Majesty Covered by Your grace so free Here I am, knowing I'm a sinful man Covered by the blood of the Lamb Refrain: Now I've found the greatest love of all is mine Since You laid down Your life Your greatest sacrifice
Majesty, Majesty Your grace has found me just as I am Empty-handed but alive in Your hands
Majesty, Majesty Forever I am changed by Your love In the presence of Your Majesty, Majesty
Here I am humbled by the love that You give Forgiven so that I can forgive so here I stand Knowing that I'm Your desire Sanctified by glory and fire Refrain: Now I've found the greatest love of all is mine since You laid down Your life the greatest sacrifice
Majesty, Majesty Your grace has found me just as I am Empty-handed but alive in Your hands Majesty, Majesty Forever I am changed by Your love In the presence of Your Majesty, Majesty, Majesty, Majesty

Forward Through The Ages
1. Forward through the ages, In unbroken line Move the faithful spirits at the call divine. Gifts in diff'ring measure, Hearts of one accord, Manifold the service, One the sure reward; Refrain: Forward through the ages, In unbroken line Move the faithful spirits at the call divine.
2. Wider grows the kingdom, Reign of love and light; For it we must labor, Till our faith is sight. Prophets have proclaimed it, Martyrs testified, Poets sung its glory, Heroes for it died. [Refrain]
3. Not alone we conquer, Not alone we fall; In each loss or triumph lose or triumph all. Bound by God’s far purpose In one living whole, Move we on together to the shining goal! [Refrain]
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever Amen
