For example: Great Black-backed Gull, who is the largest member of the gull family.

On the Gulf of Gdańsk are wintering a lot of birds.

Curiosity about them: when feeding, a Red-necked Phalarope will often swim in a small, rapid circle, forming a small whirlpool.

Mute Swan a species of swan, and thus a member of the duck, goose and swan family Anatidae. It is native

to much of Europe.

This species breeds in much of temperate Europe.It is resident in the milder parts of its range, such as western Europe, but northern and eastern populations migrate

to Africa and south Asia.
