After taking one dropper a day of PMB Recept Hemp Oil for about 2 weeks each morning, and doing a number of BioSpect treatments on myself over a two month period, including an intense 3 hour session on 13th April 2019, I found that my urine had turned almost black on 17th April, and this continued for 2days. There was no pain and my energy level was normal, but I wanted to know what the physiology ofthe reaction was. I was consistently drinking 4l to 5l of water a day,and was not dehydrated, another potential cause of dark urine. The urine volume was normal, whereas in dehydration there is very little urine passed.

I was exercising as usual, doing long bike rides on 18th and 19th April without problem. I was not eatingbeetroot which can color the urine, and I stopped drinking oolong tea in the morning as it is a diuretic.

I suspected there was excess bilirubin in the urine, as the color remained. There was little sediment or cloudiness, so I know it was not protein related. Usually very little bilirubin gets into the urine unless there is a renal disease. In this case, I feel a deep underlying emotional clearing was happening – kidneys relate to childhood fear and anger (being pissed off). Mine was held from being sent at age 8 toa very strict and brutal Jesuit boarding school in England for 8 years. My body was ready to clear it from the kidneys.

On 19th April, I did a BioSpect session to investigate, as the black urine continued, and focused on the kidneys. In both left and right kidneys, there was a viral infection in the blood capillaries feeding the renal tubules in the renal medulla.
