Volunteer Opportunities

Don’t miss an opportunity to be a part of the preparations for the 2018 BioInterface Conference. Contact [email protected] or 612-351-2365 to express your interest.

Visit San Diego during your stay While in town for the conference, San Diego and its surrounding areas offer a tremendous variety of things to do and the weather should be amazing. Average conditions in early October are dry and sunny with a high of 74°F and a low of 63°F. While you’re in town, be sure to take advantage of everything that San Diego has to offer. Legoland, the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, the Birch Aquarium at Scripps, and SeaWorld are all world-class attractions for the entire family. For those more interested in museums and art, the Reuben H Fleet Science Center, Balboa Park, the USS Midway, and the “Art San Diego” show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds are all great options. For the active among us, hundreds of miles of Pacific Ocean beaches are calling, including Coronado Island, Mission Beach, and La Jolla Cove with kayaking and snorkeling options. The world-renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course is certainly on a lot of golfers’ bucket lists and is open to the general public. For those who appreciate oenology and viticulture, get away to nearby Temecula for wine tasting at over 30 beautiful wineries. No matter what you choose, you will have a great time during your stay in San Diego.
