DESIGN PROCESSThe design changed from symmetrical to assymetrical as I searched to find a design that would be the best solution to compliment the center’s surroundings.

This goal of this project was to design a tourist information center for Tombstone Territorial Parkin the Yukon.I designed a center with forms inspired by the jagged peaks of Mt. Monolithand Mt. Monolith’s distinct split between its peaks. The center blends into its surroundings and drastically opens up in the rear of the building in order to emphasize the beautiful mountain vistas.
