Big Island Farms, Big Island Table Experience (BITE), and the World Sacred Gardens would like to announce experiential internship opportunities available on our organic permaculture farm beginning Fall 2015 through 2016 and beyond! Big Island Farms is located on the tropical Hamakua coast of Hawaii’s big Island, five miles from breathtaking Waipio Valley and historic Hnokaa Town. The strong local context lends BI Farms a culturally biologically rich environment. Students will lead a self-directed project within their internship focus (listed below) supported by research, design, and documented for final presentation at the end of the semester.
