About Us
The Bridge is a Birmingham-based drug and alcohol
addiction recovery project. We’ve been helping men
and women beat addiction and live to the full, for over
15 years. We give our clients: a home (not a hostel); a
full-time recovery programme; and the skills they need
to thrive in the community
The Bridge started as a group of people from Oasis
Church, Birmingham, who wanted to support the
homeless and vulnerable in Birmingham. It has grown
to three six-bedroom houses, housing 36 men and
women a year, with a small team of dedicated support
workers
Our recovery programme runs for 5 days a week. The
men and women on the programme take part in daily
drug-and-alcohol testing, recovery study groups, and
training or volunteer work placements. We offer a
lifeline to our residents; who have each tried and failed
to stay clean and sober for years
Our recovery programme is free to our residents. So
we rely on donations to keep on helping them win their
fight against addiction
