Dirty Clothes? The truth is, these people did not understand the depth of their sin problem, and they didnt understand Gods holiness. God is the Master Teacher, and He gave them ahands-on project. He told the people to wash their clothes. This may sound strange to us because we wear clean clothes everyday. Clean Clothes? When God told them to wash their clothes, He was helping the people understand that just as their clothes were dirty, their hearts were polluted as well. They needed God to clean them from the inside out!
