While God was speaking to
Moses through a burning bush,
Moses gave the Lord five excuses for
why he could not deliver the
people of Israel. Not surprisingly, God countered
all five!
Josiah was just 8 years
old when he became king! Can
you imagine becoming a king at that
age? He ruled in Jerusalem for
31 years.
How did Jonah get out of the
belly of the giant fish?
You might be surprised to
hear that God commanded
the fish to vomit Jonah out.
Noah died at the age of 950, 350 years after
the flood ended.
The Samaritan woman was intentionally
avoiding others by visiting the
well at the time of day she did, but
Jesus’ timing was intentional
to meet her exactly where she was both physically and
spiritually.
The miracles Jesus
performed all pointed
to the power of salvation through the cross. Water
into wine, raising the
dead, healing the sick . . . every
single one!
Snake bite! In Acts 28, Paul
was bitten by a viper. Everyone
expected him to die, but he did
not perish.
