OBJECTIVE OF FDP OBJECTIVE OF FDP BIT is one of the leading professional education institutes in the state. Our vision is to provide quality education and groom students into confident and competent professionals imbibed with ethical values to successfully meet the challenges of highly competitive environment in global arena. Our mission is to spread knowledge in the field of Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Management. The BIT, school of Pharmacy is approved by AICTE, PCI & affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The institute has marvelous infrastructure with high tech equipments, spacious and well equipped laboratories. Separate hostel for girls and boys are available in the campus. The institute is experiencing a fast academic growth to meet the st challenge of the 21 century. BIT started its journey with B. Pharm course in the year 2005 and M. Pharm course 2010-11 in subject viz pharmaceutics and pharmacology. Facilities for Ph.D and R&D are also available for faculty members and students. School of Pharmacy continually upgrade the benchmark through latest teaching modules, exploration of new research methodology to cope with ever changing demand of pharmaceutical industry and education scenario. BHARAT INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY BHARAT INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY The proposed FDP will increase the awareness of the faculty members regarding potential of generic medicines in the healthcare system. The key topics will show that generic medicines work in the same way in terms of dose, safety, effectiveness, strength, stability, quality and provide same clinical benefits as brand-name medicines. These initiatives help to improve the public health and accessibility towards safety and therapeutic effecti- veness. The course intends to promote new tools for FDA and working professionals to products generic medicines. The generic medicines are economical in comparison to branded medicines. Generic Drug Regulation amendment, Drug Utilization and Patient Counseling, Bioavailability and Bioequi- valence studies, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacoe- conomics, Impact of Excipient on the Bioequivalence studies, Formulation Development, Understanding Global Influencers of Generic Drug, Global Trends & Pharma Market, Possible Biological Targets, Bioanalytical Methods to Measure Drug Release, Drug Delivery Systems, Patient Sociode-mographic Characteristics and Generic Drug Use, Leveraging Quantitative Methods and Modeling to Modernize Generic Drug Development. Pharmacy teaching faculties and PhD scholars are invited for FDP. Maximum permissible number of participants is 60 (first cum first registration). Arrangement for fooding and lodging will be provided at BIT campus (guest house/hostel). All attendees are th requested to inform regarding their stay by 5 may.
