e kind and the Ballygally has been recently reported to have as m

ost about has been around for the best part of 400 years.

The theory is that the ghost is that of Lady Isabella Shaw, w

ife of Lord James Shaw

ho built the castle.Lady Isabella’s ghost is reputed to be

a “friendly” spirit who roam

s the hotel. O

ver the years many guests have reported

strange experiences and have felt a presence in their room

s! There are also endless stories of unexplained noises in the night and an eerie green m

ist over the castle! We are

so proud of our permanent resident,

we have even dedicated a bedroom

to her, “The G

host Room” in one of the tow
