Virginia Baptist Combined HANDBELL FESTIVAL February 8–9, 2019 Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Glen Allen, VA The 2019 Virginia Baptist Handbell Festival will be held in one location this year so that all choirs can enjoy the leadership of David Harris. The festival is open to both 2-3 and 3-5 octave handbell choirs and will begin on Friday evening, concluding around noon on Saturday. All groups will play together in mass ringing. The church will be open on Friday afternoon for setup. 2019 David M. Harris has been the director of The Raleigh Ringers since January 1990, when he was instrumental in the formation of the group. David has served Handbell Musicians of America (formerly the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers— AGEHR) as North Carolina State Chairman and as Area III Treasurer.
