3. Recruitment rally will be carried out based on the fwg priorities:- (a) Priority-1 (Own Regt/Corps/(Battle Casualty/Liberalised Family Pension)).

(i) Son of war widow who are in receipt of Liberalized Family Pension to include legally adopted son.

(ii) Real brother of battle casualty who has married the widow of the battle casualty.

(iii) Son in law of battle casualty having no son to include husband of legally adopted daughter.

(iv) One real brother of unmarried battle casualty. (b) Priority – 2 (Own Regt / Corps / Disability Pensioners /Special Family

Pensioners).

(i) One son of servicemen who died in harness, one son / one legally adopted son or one real brother (if the serviceman is unmarried) where the widow or NOK is in receipt of special family pension. (ii) One son / one legally adopted son of ex serviceman or one real brother (if ex serviceman is unmarried) in receipt of disability pension more than 20% and disability is attributed to / aggravated by mil service.

(c) Priority-3 (Own Regt/Corps) Serving/Ex-Serviceman).

(i) One son of serviceman who died in harness to include legally adopted son whose death is not attributable to mil service. (ii) One son of Serving/Ex-serviceman to include legally adopted son. (iii) One brother of Serviceman/Ex-serviceman.

(d) Priority-4 (Other Regt/Corps).

4. Instant Enrolment of Wards of Battle Casualties. (a) Death/Invalidation out of service of an Army Personnel (Only for Bengal Sappers personnel) in war or war like situations or while providing aid to civil authorities and widow of the deceased soldier in receipt of Liberalized Family Pension. (b) Wards of such battle casualties, who meets the Age, Education QR, Physical Measurement and Medical Standards will be given instant enrolment under Sol GD cat without putting him through Physical Fitness Test and Written Test. (c) In case the candidate does not meet the laid down criteria for Sol GD cat, he can be given Instant Enrolment as Sol Tdn cat. 5. The candidates are required to report at Centenary Pavilion Ground (located near Roorkee Bus Stand) between 0430 Hrs to 0530 Hrs (No candidate will be allowed entry after 0530 Hrs) on the date of commencement of the recruitment rally, with the following documents/certificates in original with two attested photocopies:- (a) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white background. Computerized / Photoshop photographs will NOT be accepted. Photographs must be with proper hair cut and clean shave (except Sikh candidates). (b) Educational Certificates. (i) Educational Certificate with mark sheet of all educational qualifications achieved by candidate i.e Matric/Intermediate etc from recognized School/ College/University. (ii) Provisional / online educational certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board/University. (iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bring School Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO/DEO (c) Domicile Certificate. Domicile Certificate affixed with photograph issued by Tehsildar/ District Magistrate. (d) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph issued by Tehsildar/ District Magistrate. (e) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/SDM. (if religion as “SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in Caste Certificate). (f) School Character Certificate. School Character certificate issued by the School/College principal/Headmaster where the candidates last studied. (g) Character Certificate. Character Certificate affixed with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six months. (h) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six months.

5 (j) Police Character Certificate. Police Character Certificate affixed with photograph issued by Superintendent of Police within last six months.

(k) Relationship Certificate. SOS /SOEX /SOW /SOWW /BOS candidates are required to produce following documents:-

(i) Relationship Certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly signed by Record Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and particular of the Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/stamp is endorsed. Relationship certificate should be bear water marks of the concerned Records.

(ii) A declaration to the effect as mentioned in Affidavit on Ten Rupees Non - Judicial Stamp Paper prepared by the guardian duly signed by 1st Class/Executive/ Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidates at rally site. Format att as per Appx A.

(iii) Relationship Certificate issued by DSC Records, Kannur is NOT Valid. Candidates produce Relationship Certificate issued by DSC Records, Kannur will not be permitted to enter rally site.

(iv) Relation certificate only be issued by parent Record office be accepted.

(l) NCC Certificate. NCC A/B/C Certificate and Republic Day Parade certificate should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A /B/C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Gp Cdr. No bonus marks are to be allotted unless the certificate have been verified. An undertaking to the effect will be obtain from the candidate. Provisional certificates are accepted only during the notified rally duration neither earlier nor late.

(m) Sports Certificate. (i) For International / National level sportsmen only. No bonus marks are to be allotted unless the certificate is verified by the concerned recognized Federation /Sports authority of India. (ii) The sports certs issued by auth sports federations are valid for two yrs

from the issue date as on first day of the rect rally, for which the candidate

is being screened.

(n) Bond of indemnity att as per Appx B. (o) Group family photographs alongwith details of family members duly signed by Village Sarpanch/Pradhan with official stamp. Format att as per Appx C. (p) Affidavit. Duly signed by candidates on Rs. 10/- Non-judicial Stamp Paper as per specimen duly attested by Notary will be submitted at the rally site. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the rally without affidavit.. Format att at Appx D.

6. Variation in Date of Birth and Name. (a) Date of Birth. A variation in date of birth as recorded in Relationship Certificate and Educational Certificate is permissible upto one year (i.e upto 366 days). Any variation beyond one year will not be accepted under any circumstances. The variation within 366 days will be treated as minor variation and may be accepted subject to submission of an affidavit on Ten Rupees Non Judicial Stamp Paper duly signed by \Class 1 Magistrate.

6 (b) Variation in Candidate’s Name/Father’s Name. Spelling variation may be accepted as long as the name remains the same. Similarly when the surname has been included in one certificate but not included in other, it may also be accepted as long as the name is same. In no cases as entirely different name in one of the certificate will be accepted Minor variation may be accepted subject to submission of an affidavit on Rs. 10 Rupees Non Judicial Stamp Paper duly signed by class 1 Magistrate. 7. Permanent Body Tattoo. Permanent Body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are unacceptable and candidates will be barred from further screening. In case a non permissible tattoo is notices during med examination/physical measurements, the matter will be reported to the screening Dir imdt and the candidate debarred from further screening. 8. 11. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) It consists of measurement of Height, Weight and Chest and will be conducted at rally site. 12. Medical Examination. (a) Medical examination of the candidates will be carried out as per laid down medical standards at rally site. (b) UNFIT candidates will be referred to MH Roorkee for specialist review. Candidates to report MH Roorkee within 5 days from referral and review medical exam to be completed by Military Hospital within 14 days as per medical policy. 13. Musician Aptitude Test. All medically FIT candidates, who have participated the rect rally under Sol Tdn (Musician) cat will be put up through Musician Aptitude Test. Admit Cards for CEE will be issued to the candidates, who have cleared the Aptitude Test.

14. Common Entrance Examination (CEE). (a) After completion of PFT and PMT, successful candidates will have to go through the medical examination. Only FIT candidates will be permitted to appear for common entrance exam. Negative marking will applicable in CEE. (b) CEE will be conducted for medical FIT candidates at nominated venue. Date and time of CEE will be intimated through Admit Cards. (c) Admit Cards for the CEE will be distributed prior to 10 days of CEE. Exact date will be intimated later. 15. General Guidelines against Malpractices. (a) The place of rect rally is out of bounds for all ranks except the pers employed for the task there. (b) No Staff in the Centre will visit the place of rect rally unless called by the Presiding Offr. (c) No combatant will make an effort to contact any candidate and vice versa.

(d) All candidates, incl parents are advised to refrain from contacting touts. In such cases the police will be called in and the candidature of the indl will be rejected. 16. Important Instructions for candidates.

(a) Candidates are advised to participate with their own interest to get themselves medically examined before coming for selection in respect of flat foot, vision and minor ailments and have the wax from your ears cleaned beforehand. (b) Government of India or Army authorities conducting the rally will not responsible for any injury or death caused to any candidates during recruitment process. Candidates will participate at their own risk. Enrolment is purely merit based according to the vacancies available.

(c) No compensation for Death/ Injury/Loss etc during the rally and no travelling allowance/dearness allowance for journey is admissible. Candidates will participate in the rally at their own risk and the participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The signing of Indemnity Bond is a mandatory requirement.

(d) The complete process is transparent with different set of assessors/ examiner for

different stages of selection / screening. (e) Certificates with overwriting a tampering of seals or erasing/alteration of any type

will not be accepted. (f) All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agencies

before enrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting fake documents. Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are found to have produced fake documents or gave wrong information at the time of recruitment, despite the number of years of service individual may have rendered.

9 (g) On production of fake documents, FIR will be lodged and the candidate will be

handed over to Police along with all original documents. (h) Use of any kind of performance enhancing drugs is strictly banned. Any

candidates found to have used the same will be debarred from further screening. (j) Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates are

dispatched for training. 17. Result of written examination will be declared on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check his result and report to Centre for documentation.

18. COVID Pandemic. Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to COVID guidelines. They will be in possession of face masks, Gloves, pocket sanitizer at all times. candidates will produce a COVID-19 free / asymptomic cert through (RT-PCR Testing), issued within not more than 3 days prior to the commencement of rally.
