Between 18th February and 7th May 2017 Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery will host Rhyme Around the World, a touring exhibition with a focus on the under 5s from Seven Stories, The National Centre for Children’s Books in Newcastle. Tuesday 17th January, Haydn Smith Room, Theatre Severn 4.00pm -6.00pm Join us for a free taster session of our museum rhyme workshop with storyteller, singer and early year’s specialist, Sally Tonge. Taster sessions last 20 minutes and take place at 4.30 & 5.30 pm Contact [email protected] 01743 258881/258884 for information and to book Thursday 19th January the Art Room, Oakengates Theatre 4.00-6.00pm Join a free 30 minute taster of the “Words Aloud” programme with professional trainer Sophie Peach. Words Aloud is a nationwide provider of public speaking skills for primary school pupils. RSVP before 12th January 2017 to [email protected]
