CNC CONTROLLED CROWNING

This feature eliminates the need for time consuming shimming by creating an adjustable crown in the middle of the table. In this system and over under wedge system creates a stable crown to the center of the table or bed . The CNC controlled system is automatically set based on programmed part information.

LARGE STROKE, DAYLIGHT & THROAT

Enlarged daylight and throat (gap) dimensions allow easier part handling and removal, as well as eliminating the need to turn the part 180 degree for completion.

X/R STANDARD BACK GAUGE

A strong and stable back gauge system with compo-nents and guides chosen from quality proven brands, offers precision and efficiency. Advantages :  ■ Durable hardened materials used■ Maximum loading capacity■ Minimum friction and noise■ Minimum maintenance requirement

HYDRAULIC PUMP

The Bosch Rexroth – Voith hydraulic pump features:

■ Extremely low noise emission ■ Favorable size/displacement ratio ■ Plain bearings balance the forces and increase life ■ High overall efficiency

Fittings are Walter-Shade brand; Block is Hoerbiger or Rexroth type; Valves are Bosch-Rexroth or Hoerbiger type; Filters are Rexroth; O-rings and seals made by Busak Shamban or Merkel (Germany); with the latest technology in seals from Omegat. Ornegat advantages include: good pump back capability; non stick-slip; low friction; abrasive resistant and quick installation    

LASER BEAM SAFEGUARDING DEVICE

Due to the multiple purpose use of press brakes, point of operation guarding is the responsibility of the machine buyer/user. For this reason we offer the Akas ram mounted and motorized “laser” style point of operation guard. The system is based off of the location of the punch tip. Simply by pressing a button the system travels down and finds the safe setting relevant to the punch being used at the time.

LARGE FORMAT ROBOTIC WELDING

Made of Certified Steel, Durma press brakes are durable under high pressure because of its foundation advantage. The rigid, long-life body has minimum deflection, and all welding parts are stress-relieved. The upper beam is monoblock.

LASER-HARDENED TOOLING

A laser hardening system is used to increase tool life by laser hardening of the shoulders of the v opening. Development in the area of harder, longer lasting tooling has provided a better solution for processing harder materials. Special application tooling is also available.

High grade chemical and certification requirements (45CrMO4) for the steel suppliers yields a better quality product. Both material content and machining quality is held under tight control Durma’s ISO 1000 factory.

REMOVABLE HARDENED DIE SHOULDER INSERTS

These inserts are laser hardened and placed in the shoulder area of the lower v die. This reduces friction as the punch pushes the material into the die. In certain materials this can be advantageous in increasing die life.

CNC-CONTROLLED DIE SHUTTLE POSITIONING

A motorized CNC controlled die shuttle system moves the multi-v style die from one v-opening to another quickly and easily without operator involvement.

MANUAL SPACER STYLE V DIE

Shoulder hardened spacers can be added or removed to reduce the desired v opening as needed. The opening ranges from 2.36” -11.8”. More per foot load capacity (83 tons) increases tool life.

CNC CONTROLLED VARIABLE V DIE

A CNC controlled lower v-die system has an opening range of 2.36” -11.8”. More per foot load capacity (83 tons) increases tool life.

CNC FEED & GAUGE SYSTEMS

The X1,X2 (back) and F1,F2 (front) feeding system eliminates the need for operator handling during the bending of poles. The system shown is equipped with integrated pneumatic pushers which can override inaccuracies from plasma cut blanks. A spring tensioning system is also available for more accurate sheared blanks. The above system is shown with four programmable front positioners (optional F1,F2,F3.F4).

PNEUMATIC ‘PUSHER’ STYLE SYSTEM

For blanks with reduced accuracy a pneumatic “pusher” style system is available. Depending on the method used for cutting the blank, a pneumatic pusher system has been developed to offset the inaccuracy that may occur when the blank is cut on a plasma cutting system.

SPRING TENSIONING

Specially designed material feed systems provide support for the blank. The fingers are spring tensioned for securing blank against gauge stop to offset slight deviations in bland accuracy . For blanks with reduced accuracy a pneumatic “pusher” style system is available (below).
