HeatmapsThese ‘heatmaps’ show which survey questions relate to which workplace factor. They also illustrate how we performed on each question at a University level. The right-hand axis displays the factor score for each question on a scale of 1-7. The coloured bars give a visual display of how we answered each question. Please note, where a question is phrased negatively, the positive/negative scoring flips to ensure that the scale is still representative and comparable. For example, a response which agreed with the question ‘I am bored with the work I do’ would have a negative engagement score.
