All CSLI courses are the same price. Students have the flexibility to change their courses to focus on different skill areas.
LEVELS CSLI’s courses are developed for 10 levels of English from Beginner to Advanced: + Beginner curriculum consists of levels 1, 2, and 3 + Intermediate curriculum consists of levels 4, 5, and 6 + Advanced curriculum consists of levels 7, 8, 9, and 10Students will receive an assessment test and an interview on their first day. Courses will be assigned to students according to their Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing skills.
EVALUATIONS There are weekly in-class and monthly one-on-one evaluations to help students review their progress with their teachers. A study plan service is also available for long-term students.

LISTENING & ACCENT REDUCTION DIPLOMA PROGRAM is also available for advanced students to further improve their articulation in speech and reduce their accent.
This course is designed to help students develop clear speech and improve their listening skills.
LISTENING Through specific listening exercises, students can improve not only their listening comprehension but also their vocabulary, idioms, and expressions. Listening homework is assigned to students twice a week for additional practice.
PRONUNCIATION Students learn about the English sound system, rhythm, intonation, and how sounds are linked together. The teacher guides students to make self-corrections and produce clear pronunciation during in-class activities, allowing students to improve articulation and reduce accents.

This course helps students increase their active vocabulary (words used in their own writing and speaking) to express their ideas precisely. Each week-long session includes a series of exercises on word meaning, word families, collocations, synonyms, and usage rules in order to help students reach a fuller understanding of the academic word lists. Excerpts from university-level readings on contemporary topics such as social change, consumer behaviour, and natural resources are used for these exercises. The course also contains writing and speaking components that challenge students to incorporate the new words into their own sentences so they can start using them as part of their active vocabulary.

The diversity in content exposes students to a broad range of vocabulary and grammar, as well as literature forms.
This course allows students to improve their reading skills and accuracy in both spoken and written English. A wide variety of reading texts are studied in detail.
Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, CAMBRIDGE)
Students focus on improving their reading, writing, speaking, grammar structure, and listening skills to match the specifications of these English exams. The course covers important language points and skills drawn from materials relating to the tests.Once a month, students will have an opportunity to write a full practice test to review their knowledge and familiarize themselves with the test style.
*Cambridge Exam Preparation requires that students take a minimum of 5 hours/week of PRIVATE LESSONS to focus intensely on the specific skills needed for this exam.

Students practice reading comprehension and analyze relationships between words as they practice using new vocabulary in different contexts. Grammar points are reviewed and close attention is paid to students’ grammatical accuracy during speaking exercises.

Specialty Diploma Program
In addition to CSLI’s general English courses, specialty diploma programs are held monthly to help students achieve their specific goals. All Diploma programs are 4-week half-day programs. Full-time students can combine these programs with other CSLI courses to supplement their English study in different areas. Students are required to attend the complete 4 weeks and present the final project or pass the final exam to receive a diploma.
● Specialty Diploma Programs are offered on a monthly rotation schedule. Please check www.csli.com for specific start dates and more information.
● Class availability is dependent upon seasonal demand. The price for Specialty Diploma Programs is the same as for regular courses.

CSLI offers the Pathway Program to help students successfully transfer to a reputable partner College/University in Canada (no IELTS or TOEFL required). CSLI’s Pathway Program is customized to your English level and academic goals.
Students have many partner schools to choose from via CSLI’s Pathway Program. For a list of partner schools, please check www.csli.com. If your desired school is not on our list, please also feel free to contact us directly for additional support.

Each month, CSLI organizes a graduation celebration attended by the entire student body. These exciting theme parties include:Harbour boat cruises, Beach barbecues, International Expo, International chef competition, Halloween party, etc.
Every week, students from one country find a great restaurant where their classmates can sample that country's food, learn about their friends’ culture, and speak English!
Teachers are available in the Student Lounge to answer questions and to socialize with students via activities and games that help students practice English.
