Best 4 stroke motorcycle oil

gud day mga guru sa motot,

ask ko lang po kung ano ang da best engine oil for my raider j. katatapos lang po ng break-in,

3000km ang mileage. currently using shell advance VSX fully synthetic. may naririnig po kase akong

mas maganda kung magpalit ako ng castrol. ok po b un? and kelan po b dpat magpalit ng oil.??

monthly or by mileage? my average travel per day is 10km.

correction: VSX is nt a fully synthetic — it's semi-synthetic. Regarding to castrol, as long as its fully

synth like power 1, it's better.

try mo sir ang castrol power1..smooth daw manakbo 'to. try ko rin ito next change oil ko at kapag

nagandahan ako ito na siguro ang ipapalit ko sa repsol.

internal parts ng engine ay mas mataas, at mas mahaba ang drain interval nito. at ang detergency

nito o ung cleaning ability nito ay mas mataas din kesa sa mga nasabi kong type ng oil (semi-synth

at mineral based) kaya mas maganda ito. regarding sa change oil interval eh kung daily use mo ung

motor mo ay hindi pwedeng 1 year. ang draining interval o change interval ng fully-synth oils ay

nasa 3000 to 5000kms. depending on the oil's brand. my precaution nga lang sa pag gamit ng fully

synths lalo pag gagamitin mo ito sa mga older engines, (dahil mas slippery ito kesa sa semi-synth at

mineral based) at ito ay sa clutch operation na maaring mag cause ng pag slide ng clutch pag

ginamitan mo ng fully-synth ang isang old engine. pero all in all, fully synth is the best.

TMX 155 motor nmn sir. every 1000kms. ako nag cha-change oil nung mineral based oil pa ang

gamit ko. pero ngaun bumalik nako sa semi-synthetic dahil binase ko sa climate at Shell VSX na ang

gamit ko. Ok ang shell VSX lalo na at araw-araw kong ginagamit ung motor sa skul na bumabiyahe

ng 40km./day. Mas my hatak ang motor ko sa shell VSX at ang magigi kong change interval sa VSX

ay every 1500kms.

gamit ko ngaun is Elf 4T semi synth oil... ok engine response, mas maliksi sya compared sa Motul

5100 semi synth... kaso meron lang akong napansin, mas tumakaw sa gaso motor ko...

dati sa Motul 5100, nasa 39 to 41 km/liter konsumo ko (ratrat mode), ngaun nsa 33 to 36 km/liter

na lang (same ratrat mode)...

totoo ba na nakakaapekto sa gas consumption ang engine oil na nilalagay sa makina ng motor mo?

bihira un. if i were u, ang gamitin mo na oil ay castrol power 1 fully synthetic. madaming positive

feedbacks d2 sa oil na 'to, e2 ung dating castrol r4 superbike. isa pang magandang fully synth oil ay

ung elf campiogne in w/c madaming positive feedbacks din ang nababasa ko tungkol d2 or if you

would like the motul 300v fully synth is a very good choice too. o kya kung gusto mo ng the best:

repsol. ung repsol racing fully synthetic. nasa 700+ un kung di-ako nagkakamali. pero sa repsol

syntetico 10w-40 (semi synth) ay panalong panalo ka na. lahat ng namention kong brand na yan ay

proven and tested lalong lalo na ang repsol na halos lahat d2 sa MCP ay yan ang gamit.

Racing approved ito. Ive tried one. Maganda naman ang shifting ko, malambot din gaya nung nag

repsol racing ako. Kaso ang napansin ko dati, tumunog ang tensioner ko. sabi ni sir francis, masyado

On my experience, Elf Moto is the most affordable "best" oil for a motorcycle/scooter engine.

I've tried the following before Elf Moto on my scooter:

Shell Advance VSX | P190 per liter | Good for less than 1000kms each change

Castrol Power 1 Gold | P350 per 800ml | No better than Shell Advance VSX | Change every

1000-2000kms

Repsol Moto (Mineral) | P280 per liter | Good for break-in period up to 4000kms | Change every

1000-2000 kms

Mobil Super XHP Plus | P190 per liter | Good for 1000kms (sobrang itim ng oil once 500kms is

reached)

With Elf Moto (P350 per liter), mas malamig ang makina, mas makinis at tahimik ang takbo ng

engine, pwedeng paabutin upto 4000kms. 10W50 ang viscousity which means it will work and

protect your engine kahit bagong start ang makina. A friend from Bulacan uses Elf Moto on all his

big bikes and scooter and another friend who uses a Nouvo testifies on how Elf Moto is better than

YamaLube.

the answer is yes. lalo na kung low quality ang oil na gamit. kasi chances are na hindi nito kayang

bigyan ng sufficient protection ang mga internal moving parts inside (most likely sa high rpm). pag

nangyari un magkakaron ng decrease sa effieciency ng engine at degredation ng internals nito. at

ang cause nito ay low power output, increase in fuel consumption at ang extreme case ay engine

failure or damage. kaya napakalaking factor ang quality ng oil na nilalagay natin sa engine. kaya

kung my pondo, bilhin mo na ung pinaka-magandang brand ng oil na mabibili mo. ako VSX gamit ko

kasi ito lang ung mgandang brand ng oil na tested ko na at kaya ng budget ko.

may conditions din di ba sir with regarding motor oils?

kapag dry clutch yung motor mo ang alam ko di pwede

ang fully synthetic. ami I correct? if ever if this is true

what would you recommend for mc with dry clutches?

sa pagkakaalam ko, ang hindi pwede sa dry clutch e yung oils specially made for scooters..pwero

pwede yung oil pang wet clutch/motorsiklo sa mga scooters..dry clutch kasi scooter.

di ko lam kung anong magandang gamiting oil for Honda wave 100 bale 1yr na po yung mc ko...

Honda 4T 10w-30. in my opinion maxadong manipis ung oil @ operating temp. kasi hanggang 30

lang ang viscosity nya. much better pa sana kung nasa 40 ang viscosity nito @ operating temp. lalo

na't tropical climate tayo kaya hindi ako gumagamit nito. try mo mag shell VSX or other fully

synthetic oils mas ok pa.

Shell VSX @ 190-200php semi-synthetic. or other brand of oils like motul (5100 or 300v), elf moto

and repsol (moto, syntetico and racing).

bakit naman? synthetic oils are safe in dry and wet clutches. sa wet clutch nmn (motorcycles), JASO

spec. and API rating like SJ and SG ang safe.
