BESSEY introduces a new range of variable self-adjusting toggle clamps with 2 types and 3 foot variants Fast, strong and now even more versatile - that's the STC variable self-adjusting toggle clamps from BESSEY. The clamping tool specialist expands their selection of innovative quick clamps with a further range including three foot variants. All models – new and old – are distinguished with an automatic, infinitely variable adjustment of the clamping range. This makes them practical aids in tool making, mould manufacture, fixture fabrication, carpentry and prototyping. From "three" we have "eight" For a long time the BESSEY range has included two horizontal clamps and one push/pull clamp – each with a horizontal base plate. This selection introduced in 2011 has now been expanded to a small range with the addition of five further models: Included in this expansion are three horizontal toggle clamps with up to 20 mm clamping height, one of which has a horizontal base plate, one with a vertical base plate and one with a 90° angled base plate. The push/pull clamp range has been expanded by two models each with up to 10 mm clamping height: One model with a horizontal base plate and one with a 90° angled base plate. With an ear to the customer BESSEY listens and reacts to the wishes of their customers. As a result, the new variable self-adjusting toggle clamps also include detail improvements. For example, the opening angle is now 90°. The oil-resistant two-component plastic grip with large hand contact surface has been extended. Now equipped with an anti-slide device and lever stop, the clamping of work pieces is now even more secure. And, the sturdy, tempered sheet steel together with improved riveting provide an even longer service life. Quickly brought into position with power An outstanding feature of all eight self-adjusting toggle clamps is the automatic adaptation of the clamping width to different work piece heights or widths with almost the same clamping force. Time-consuming manual adjustment of the pressure screw is a thing of the past. Adaptation of the clamping force to the characteristics of the work piece is likewise possible. Depending on the model, you can regulate this to up to 1,100 N or 2,500 N simply via an adjusting screw in the joint. Instead of the usual screw head with rubber covering all quick clamps from BESSEY have a rotating pressure plate with removable protective cap. This assures precise fastening of the workpiece without damaging the material. The base plate hole pattern is suitable for dimensions in millimetres and inches. So it offers the best conditions for rapid and secure fastening of the quick clamp regardless of standardised systems.
Also with the smaller range the STC variable self-adjusting toggle clamps, the clamping width adapts to different work piece heights or widths - without any manual adjustment of the pressure screw and with almost the same clamping force.
