FrameFrame is the basic version of the automatic door system Besam Frame, which also comprises; Frame Telescopic, Frame Break-out and Frame Reverse Break-out. Its rugged design and clean, classic appearance makes Besam Frame suitable for use in entrances with high traffic and where shopping trol-leys must pass in and out. Besam Frame comprises doors, operator, safety units and, if required, side screens and overlights. The system can be supplied for beam- or wall-mounting and is available as bi-part-ing and single-sliding.

All models are tailored to indi-vidual customer requirements. The aluminium profiles are available as clear or colour anodized, or painted according to RAL colour. Different glass types can be mounted; 6 and 8 mm laminated or toughened, or 22

and 40 mm double glazed units. For Frame and Frame Telescopic, ther-mally broken profiles are available.

Frame TelescopicFrame Telescopic is the natural choice in narrow passage ways. It maximises the opening width and provides an impressive solution when space is limited.

Frame Break-outFrame Break-out enables the doors and side screens to be swung out-wards in an emergency situation by applying pressure. This allows exit through the entire door and side screen space.

Frame Reverse Break-outFrame Reverse Break-out enables the doors to be swung inwards in an emergency situation by applying pressure. This allows exit through the entire door space.

Safety featuresBesam Frame together with a Besam presence detection sys-tem will further improve the safety. People or objects in the doorway are detected and the door is then prevented from closing until it is safe to do so.

To meet the requirements of BS7036:1996 it may be necessary to incorporate additional safety units such as finger/head/body trap pro-tection, presence safety units and in some situations hinged pocket safety screens.

We recommend that you call your Besam area sales contact to assist you in specifying these products. We can help you to ensure that each installation meets the require-ments and recommendations of BS7036:1996, BS8300, Building Regulations and the DDA.
