PLAYING WITH CHOCOLATE $65.00

Learn how to temper chocolate, use chocolate transfer sheets, magnetic choco-late molds, make decorations. Tempering is a very precise technique. Once chocolate is tempered, we will proceed as noted above. As much will be com-pleted in time allowed. All supplies provided by instructor.

Learn how to make these stunning roses. Finished with silk leaves and pearl sprays. Perfect for Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Special Celebrations. Instructor will provide all supplies for use in class.

WHIMSICAL ANIMALS $60.00

Come and have some fun and see what can be made from fondant. This class will provide the basis for modelling many other animals. All supplies for use in class will be provided by the instructor.

CHOCOLATE FLOWERS $65.00

If you enjoy chocolate as much as I do, you’ll love this class. If you are an experienced sugar crafter your talents will serve you well in this new ad-venture! If you do not have any previous experience, do not dismay - you will see results immediately. The wonderful advantage of this medium is that you can eat your mistakes! Flowers included in this class - full-blown rose and daisies. Time permitting we will make more flowers. All sup-plies for use in class will be provided by the instructor.

FUN BABY TOPPER $60.00

This sweet little baby may be for either a boy or girl. Choose skin colour and shawl colour. All supplies for class will be provided by the instructor.

FLOWER FAVOURS MADE FROM CHOCOLATE OR ALMOND DRAGEES $60.00

This is a really fun class. Come and learn what may be creatively made from almond/chocolate dragees. All supplies for use in class will be provided by the instructor.

HAPPY DRAGON $60.00

Come and make this fun, happy dragon. Great for men’s, children’s cakes - whatever you choose. Add a flower or a ribbon and turn your dragon into a lady. Add a top-hat and it will become a man! All supplies for class will be provided by the instructor

CUPCAKE DECORATION $60.00

Cupcakes are fun and simple to make and decorate. Want to make your cupcakes stand out? This is the class for you. Something for children, mums & dads, baby showers. The list is endless. Students will need to bring six, undecorated cupcakes. Instructor will provide all other supplies for use in class.

These “fruits” and “vegetables” are the perfect decoration for cakes, cupcakes, Thanksgiving. So may ideas. They are fun to make and delight-ful to eat! Instructor will provide all supplies for use in class.

Have fun making different Christmas cupcake tops for your holiday celebration. Student need to bring (6) undecorated cupcakes. All other supplies will be provided by the instructor.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Ms. Loveland is a native of the United Kingdom and has lived in the Fairfax area since 1983. She is a

graduate Pastry Chef of L’Academie de Cuisine, Ewald Notter Chocolate Class and Blown & Pulled Sug-

ar, the Roland Winbeckler Professional Course, the Amy Malone School of Cake Decorating and has

completed a course of study in the art of airbrush with Frances Kuyper. Ms. Loveland has travelled

extensively and has also taught in the United Kingdom.

All classes are taught by Beryl Loveland. A place in class will be guaranteed only if your 50% deposit

is received SEVEN days before the date agreed for a specific class. Deposits are non-refundable or

transferable unless notification is received a MINIMUM OF SEVEN days prior to the date of the class.

WRITING IN ICING $60.00

Having difficulty in writing on your cakes? This is the class for you. It is practice, practice, practice. You will be provided with practice sheets containing several different styles of writing, shown how to obtain the correct flowing icing to be able to write without difficulty. You will be shown how to free your icing from any small lumps to avoid blockages as you are writing. We will use buttercream for this class but the same technique may be used with royal icing.

Make this beautiful chocolate bouquet in a flower pot. Makes the perfect gift or table centre. Special supplies include flower pot, styrofoam half-ball, M & M’s, ivy sprays and ribbon. Any additional supplies will be provided by the instructor.

CAKE APPLIQUE TECHNIQUE $60.00

Come and try this fun class. This is a technique that is originally used in sewing but may be adapted to cake decorating. Once you master this, you will look at patterns with different eyes and be eager to try new designs. Instructor will provide all supplies for use in class.
