2 – HISTORY

• Founded by the Guillemot family as a computer game publisher in 1986

• At the end of the decade, Ubisoft began expanding to other markets

The United States, the United Kingdom and Germany

• In 1994, Ubisoft opened a studio in Montreuil, which became their headquarters

• Ubisoft became a publicly trader company in 1996 And continued to expand around the world

• In 2008, Ubisoft made the acquisition of Hybride Technologies A Montreal-based studio Which is specialized in the creation of visual effects for cinema and tv
