The Bermuda Triangle

This year’s men’s member-guest tournament, The Bermuda Triangle, took place

February 28, 2019 through March 2, 2019. It consisted of four fun-filled and

competitive days of golf and activities. Starting with the horse race and ending with

the awards dinner, the whole event was a huge success!

Spring Swing 2019

The Wild, Wild West The BDWGA’s member-guest tournament, The Spring Swing, was held on

March 11-13, 2019. The theme was The Wild, Wild West, and the ladies

embraced it by dressing in their best western attire. Activities included a

horse race, putting contest, cocktail party and 3 days of golf. Another

fabulous event put on by the Bermuda Dunes Women’s Golf Association!

The “Saloon Swingers”

made an appearance at

the cocktail party.

Lads vs. Lassies The Lassies took the title for the 2nd year in a row at the annual Lads vs. Lassies tournament

on March 17, 2019. The participants were decked out in their best St. Patrick’s Day outfits

complete with hats, knee socks and lots of green. After golf, they enjoyed an Irish feast

prepared by Chef Cristian. Prizes were given for best dressed team, best decorated golf cart

and best team name. Definitely one of the most fun tournaments of the season!

Club Championships The Men’s and Ladies Club Championships were held March 22-24, 2019. It was a

repeat performance with David Travis winning the men’s championship, and April

Filewich taking the women’s championship, both for the 2nd year in a row.

Congratulations to Ha-Bocce who won

exciting match followed by an awards

dinner featuring a delicious Italian buffet.
