AC Performance

La fi abilité des produits BERING n’est pas une légende. Elle n’est pas non plus liée au hasard. Elle se fonde sur la défi nition du bon cahier des charges en amont de la conception de chaque produit.

AC3 Performance est la synthèse de notre politique en matière de sécurité et de qualité de nos produits. La volonté est de mettre à disposition de tous un « traducteur » clair et compréhensible présentant l’ensemble de la technicité entrant dans nos produits et indiquant la valeur de leur performance.Un pilote de deux-roues est exposé en permanence à des dangers objectifs. L’absence d’habitacle nécessite de parer au mieux les « agressions » dont il peut être victime : vent, froid, pluie… et parfois choc.

Nous les avons synthétisées dans la formule AC3 : ACCC

A pour Aqua : L’eau qu’elle soit sous forme de pluie, neige, grêle, brume, brouillard… Sous ses divers aspects, elle peut être

la cause de gènes qui augmentent avec la vitesse. Mais la protection qui consiste à offrir un rempart à ses agressions en

bloquant son intrusion et protégeant le pilote n’est pas suffi sante. Il faut aussi pouvoir évacuer l’eau vers l’extérieur.

Gérer ces deux effets – bloquer l’entrée et réguler l’évacuation de l’eau – nécessite le développement et la mise en œuvre

de nouveaux textiles aux propriétés adéquates et de techniques de fabrication appropriées (enduction, thermo soudure,

coutures en gouttières…)

C pour Cold : Le froid. Accentué par les saisons, ses variations dépendent également du climat de la région où vous vous trouvez.

Son effet dépend aussi de la vitesse à laquelle vous roulez.

Les conséquences d’un refroidissement corporel peuvent affecter directement votre sécurité en gênant votre conduite :

• Engourdissement (mains, pieds…)

• Perte de sensibilité

• Douleurs/brûlures

• Hypothermie générale

C pour Crash :Les chutes, les chocs… En cas d’accident le motard atteint son niveau de vulnérabilité maximale.

Sa protection devient essentielle, tout en sachant qu’une effi cacité à 100% n’est pas atteignable.

Toutefois l’abaissement du niveau des dommages corporels fait l’objet de recherches constantes chez BERING.

Et les instances européennes ont apporté leurs réponses en défi nissant des normes établissant les caractéristiques et

les niveaux requis pour les vêtements de protection pour les motocyclistes professionnels, BERING est aujourd’hui la

seule marque du marché européen à commercialiser un ensemble blouson-pantalon répondant à ce niveau d’exigence.

Atteindre ces standards de sécurité n’est possible qu’en possédant une maîtrise accomplie de la conception de vêtements

de protection, puis en faisant appel à des matériaux haut de gamme, connus pour leurs propriétés de résistance,

à des techniques de fabrication rigoureuses, et à des processus de contrôle qui démarrent dès la phase de conception

des produits jusqu’à leur réception dans notre centre logistique.

C pour Comfort : Chez BERING le confort n’implique pas seulement le bien-être du pilote : il prend aussi en compte la dimension Sécurité.

Accroître la marge de manœuvre du pilote en lui apportant des « plus » produit qui permettent une meilleure position de

conduite, réduisent les efforts physiques et privilégient l’aisance corporelle : la résultante des soins que nous apportons

The reliability of BERING products is no myth! Nor is it an accident!

It is based on defi ning the right specifi cations ahead of designing each product.

AC3 Performance brings together our policy in terms of product safety and quality.

Our aim is to make available a way of clearly and understandably presenting everyone with a

«correspondence table» presenting all of the technicity that goes into our products while showing

the value of their performance.

A biker is continually exposed to real-life dangers. The absence of a car body around them makes

it necessary to best counter any «aggression» that they could fall victim to: wind, cold, rain…

and sometimes a crash.

We have summarised this with the AC3 formula: ACCC

A for Aqua:Water, whether in the form of rain, snow, hale, mist, fog… In its various guises, water can be a nuisance, one that

increases with speed. Simply offering protection in the form of a barrier that inhibits its aggression by stopping it from

intruding and by protecting the rider is just not enough. It is also necessary to drain any water towards the outside.

Managing these two effects – blocking it on the way in and regulating it on the way out – requires developing

and implementing new textiles with suitable properties and manufacturing techniques (coating, heat welding,

gutter type stitching…).

C for Cold:The cold, accentuated by the seasons, with variations that also depend on the region where you live.

Its effects also depend on the speed at which you are riding.

The consequences of the body cooling can directly impact your safety by interfering with your riding:

• Numbness (hands, feet…)

• Loss of sensitivity

• Pain/burns

• Generalised hypothermia

C for Crash:Falling, hitting something… If an accident occurs, a bike rider is at their most vulnerable.

Then their protection becomes essential, while always knowing that 100% effi ciency cannot be achieved.

Nevertheless, reducing the degree of bodily harm is the subject of ongoing research at BERING.

At the same time, European bodies have brought their response by setting out standards that defi ne the characteristics

and the levels required for protective clothing for use by professional motorcycle riders. BERING is currently the only

Brand on the European market that sells a windbreaker-trousers combination that meets these demanding standards.

It is only possible to achieve these safety standards through an unrivalled mastery of protective clothing design, and by

calling on top of the range materials, well known for their properties of resistance, by applying rigorous manufacturing

techniques and quality control processes that start from the product design phase and that follow them until they are

received by our logistics centre.

C for Comfort: At BERING comfort is more than just the rider’s wellbeing: comfort also covers the Safety dimension. Increasing

the rider’s margin of manoeuvre by bringing them that product «plus» factor that will ensure a better riding position,

or by reducing the physical efforts that go into riding and by privileging the body’s wellbeing: the result of this care

that we lavish on this aspect ensures that riders who wear BERING clothes can ride longer, more often.

Depuis des années le confort est un critère important pour le choix d’un blouson ou d’une veste.

ADT est un système de serrage créé et développé par le bureau d’études BERING. Son principe consiste à

placer sur la poitrine et les biceps des moyens de serrage permettant d’adapter parfaitement le vêtement

à la morphologie de chacun, en un seul mouvement. Ce maintien est un apport de confort pour le pilote,

particulièrement appréciable sur longue distance. En réduisant considérablement le battement à vitesse

soutenue, il évite la fatigue et le bruit et améliore ainsi sensiblement la sécurité.

ADS - Air Dynamic System®

Avec le système de ventilation ADS, il est désormais possible de régler soi-même le fl ux d’air qui entre et

sort de son vêtement. BERING à mis au point un système de répartition de points d’entrée-sortie de l’air

permettant de contrôler et réguler la ventilation de votre veste ou blouson. Cette innovation apporte plus

de confort au pilote mais aussi une part de sécurité supplémentaire en supprimant les turbulences.

ADT is a tightening system created and developed by BERING’s design studio. Its principle comprising

adding a way of tightening clothes to the chest and biceps, so that the clothing is perfectly matched

to every individual’s fi gure, in just one move. This extra holding adds comfort for riders, something they

especially come to appreciate over long distances. By considerably reducing any wind beating at high

speeds, this adjustment avoids fatigue and noise and thereby signifi cantly improves safety.

ADS - Air Dynamic System®

Thanks to the ADS ventilation system, it is now possible to make your own adjustment

to the airfl ow into and out of your clothes. BERING has perfected a system for distributing

the air inlet-outlet points, so as to control and regulate your jacket or windbreaker’s ventilation. This

innovation brings added rider comfort and added safety by eliminating turbulence.

BW2 Tech®

BW2 Tech is a range of waterproof, breathing inserts developed by BERING.

The BW2 Tech concept is based on a sophisticated system of micro-porous cloth that ensures perfect

wind and waterproofi ng while still retaining breathability.

This technical approach to storms ensures protection against the elements while

the breathability ensures true user comfort.

Three versions of BW2 Tech have been designed to bring a degree of breathability to match your needs

Pour qu’un produit BERING ne vous déçoive jamais, les contrôles qui lui sont imposés sont draconiens. Plusieurs points de contrôle sont scrupuleusement observés sur toutes les productions BERING ; en voici le détail.

Prototype

Tests : trois à cinq prototypes, fabriqués dans le respect des techniques de production et avec les matériaux

défi nitifs, sont envoyés à une équipe de testeurs au profi l « grands rouleurs » (+ 50 000 kms/an).

ä Retour sur le produit sécurité / confort / fi abilité.

Contrôle Ê

Approvisionnement matières premières : Certifi cat d’origine et de qualité des fabricants.

Contrôle Ë

En usine : Pré-série de validation pour un contrôle conformité.

Contrôle Ì

En usine : Contrôle aléatoire en cours de fabrication et en fi n de fabrication (selon la norme

AQF), avec une attention particulière aux matériaux, aux coutures, au montage, à l’étanchéité,

aux tailles et aux éléments de fi nition.

A réception sur notre plateforme logistique : Prélèvement aléatoire.

ä Démontage intégral du vêtement et contrôle de conformité sur l’ensemble des paramètres.

Tests: Three to fi ve prototypes made in line with actual production techniques and with defi nitive materials

are sent to a team of testers with a «high mileage» rider profi le (over 50,000 km per year).

Service Après Vente composé d’une équipe de 4 personnes à temps plein qui prennent soin des réparations

des produits de l’ensemble de la gamme BERING. Grâce à cette organisation, nous sommes en mesure

d’assurer une qualité de service qui est l’une des valeurs fondamentales de la marque.

En cas de souci avéré sur un produit vendu, il vous suffi t de demander à votre client fi nal de vous rapporter

le produit défaillant accompagné de son justifi catif d’achat et de nous le retourner en complétant la fi che

de retour.

Notre Service Après Vente s’occupera alors du vêtement concerné. Si le produit BERING concerné n’est

plus couvert par la garantie, c’est notre Service Réparation qui établira alors un devis sur mesure pour le

remettre à neuf, quand cela est possible.

En cas de chute ou d’accroc, le principe de fonctionnement est identique.

Votre client est alors libre d’accepter ou non la réparation.

Il est à noter que les échanges entre vous et nous, ainsi que le retour du produit sont totalement gratuits
