Tips On Having A Good Marriage by Bonnie Dunlap
Total Commitment - Never look at another man or woman and wonder how it would be if you were married to him or her.
Be sensitive to your each other’s needs-physical, sexual, and also emotional.
Let your each other’s feelings be known. Don’t keep your feelings bottled up inside yourself.
Never let yourself stay angry for very long. To get Angry is OK but to stay angry and unbending is wrong.
Be willing to give in. It isn’t always 50-50, sometimes it’s 90-10. Be considerate of your each other’s feeling.
Welcome your husband home from work with open arms. Let him know how much you care that he goes to work every day in order to care for you. If the wife works, same thing applies.
Need to accept natural differences. Need to know how greatly men and woman differ-both physically and emotionally.
Live within your means. Don’t demand things you can’t afford.
Give him a little breathing room. Don’t expect him to be with you 24 hours a day - 365 days a year
Be patient, be understanding, and have perseverance. Buy each other gifts from time to time, not only on special occasions. Fix his favorite meal and leave each other notes!
Finally and most important: Christ must dwell in your home!
