Who may be eligible? Who is not eligible?

Patients with a commercial medical or prescription insurance plan

Patients are not eligible for the program if they are eligible for Medicare or have a state-, federal-, or government-funded medical or prescription insurance plan such as Medicare, Medicaid, VA, or Tricare.

Patients without insurance

Patients age 65 or older (patients are considered eligible for Medicare and therefore not eligible for the co-pay program).

Residents of the US (including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands)

Patients enrolled in a commercial health plan that does not permit the use of co-pay assistance programs.

For your first at-home injection

After your doctor has given you injection training, you may need a refresher for your first at-home injection. Call us and one of our trained nurses* will walk you through it, step by step.

As you continue

Even after your first at-home injection, you may still have questions. We’re available by phone for one-on-one refresher training for you or for a caregiver.

On-call nurse guidance

You can also talk to one of our trained nurses about BENLYSTA. Call BENLYSTA Cares at 1-877-4-BENLYSTA (1-877-423-6597), Monday-Friday, 8 am to 8 pm, ET. If you’re calling after hours, leave a message and we’ll get back to you within 30 minutes.
