• Herbs and spices have long been used as a component of daily food to make them more delicious and tasty. However they also come up with many un-expected health benefits. In one way or other, herbs are helpful in our daily lives as they provide major density of nutrients, minerals and vitamins that helps body fight against diseases. Many people find them handy as a simple home remedies from curing high blood pressure to treating cold, cough and infections due to their anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

• Knowing the effective medicinal properties of food and their potential health benefits, pharmaceutical companies are now using them in making medicine associated with lowering of blood pressure, reducing bad cholesterol level, regulation of blood sugar and in several antibiotics and pain killers.
