How Do I Connect in My Church?

“I know I should get involved in my church, but where should I start?” All Christians grow closer to God in a community of other Christians. Getting connected into an existing group of people can be overwhelming but is an important next step for any follower of Christ.

The mission of the church is the mission of its people. God has hard-wired you for this mission, and it runs parallel to the mission of the church. If we aren’t living our mission, the church isn’t living its mission, and the church eventually becomes irrelevant. If you want a dynamic, living church, that means the people must be Believing, Belonging, Becoming, and Building.

The Chapel is committed to seeing every person Belonging to Family. It’s not just a sense of belonging but belonging to a family. We often call our church, “The Chapel Family.” That is how Scripture refers to us; we are an eternal family.
