Who advises the president?• Executive Departments: groups of workers in the
executive branch who deal with a particular issue or set of issues in the US (there are 15 departments)
• Cabinet: a group of advisors, made up of the leader of each of the executive departments, who help the president make decisions– The leader of each department is known as the Secretary of
that department (ex. Secretary of State, Secretary of Education)—except the head of the Department of Justice, who is known as the Attorney General
