• Pedagogical tool for physics education in universities and high schools; widely used for public outreach (~40 institutions so far)
• Parlayed into Belle II’s membership in the International Particle Physics Outreach Group (ippog.org) at CERN

• Our technical interests are maintenance and improvement of the KLM subsystem in Belle II including hardware (detector panels, HV, interlocks) and software controls/protocols, maintenance and improvement of the muon and KL-meson identification algorithms, low-momentum tracking, characterization of magnetic field in the KLM region (outside solenoid)
• Our physics interests are in CP-violation and New-Physics-sensitive decay modes of B and D mesons
• We plan to transition from 2 postdocs to 1.5 in grant year #4 (FY20) to 1 in new grant year #1 (FY21); redirect funding to graduate student support.
• We plan to have 2.5 students in steady state for the coming years. Could be 3 or 4 with additional departmental support – we have many available physics analyses for students to pursue.
