Evan’s strong collectionThe West Flemish Evan produces furniture in the middle price range. The manufacturer produces furniture for the living- and the bedroom and also for the teenage bedroom. All of this is finished with high-quality and carefully selected textured melamine foils. Exclusive foils are a strong argu-ment for Evan, a company for which time has not stood still. Comfortable sofa beds by Sofa-BedModel Vasto is a part of the Daydream collection. This means the 13 cm Mini-Bonnell mattress is supported by a folding mechanism with a slate bottom. Recor renews Axa is a cottage style modern living room range in Santiago Oak. It has an open base on a slender, black U-profile leg. The top, sides and doors are bevelled off and seamlessly fit together. This gives Axa its pronounced looks. This living room, containing several pieces, makes it a strong addition to the collection. Recor’s comfortDogma is a modern open base relax sofa with a comfortable high back. The model is made with a new high-leg wall-away mechanism, enabling relax elements to be placed about 10 centimetres from the wall. The manual relax opens by means of a lever fitted next to the seat cushion. The electric relax has metal buttons fitted to the outside of the armrest. The upholstery of the sofa can be done in leather, artificial leather, mammut split or fabric. The recliner Valdez has a deep seat with a very comfortable, a little bit thicker back and a special open arm. Two legs are available: star or dish shaped. There are three sizes: standard, medium (+2 cm) or large (+4 cm). The controls of the electric version all discretely and tasteful-ly fitted. Oviedo is a recliner with a two-motor powerlift. Characteristic furnitureIn 1917 Marshall Burns Lloyd developed a method of twist-ing kraft paper round a steel wire. The paper threads are then woven into mats. The material resembles rattan but is firmer and softer. This technique is called Lloyd Loom.
