Being Salt and Lightin todays worldMatthew 5:13-16You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.Matthew 5:13-16

Light Rids off darknessPresence of Christians in the world must be like a light in the darkness.

The Word of God brings light to the darkened hearts of men; Our difference is evident.In todays world its a lot more difficult.Whats hindering the our generation from fulfilling our roles?

Distractions everywhere. Compromise everywhere. Progressiveness is the way to go. A self-sufficient and self-centered generation

Why is it so difficult?

What do we do then?We put God first.We go back to our ultimate authority, the Word of God.Focus on others, love others, put our energy and effort unto others.

Only by remaining focused on Christ and being obedient to Him can we expect to remain salt and light in the world.
