Some people just opt to stay in the box, while some break walls to find what kind of world lies beyond. Finally, We, The Purisimian, can’t be any happier knowing that you
are now holding the fruits of our love and labor, the second issue of The Purisimian with its theme, ”Behind the Wall”.
From its pages down to its cover, we are hoping to give you, our dearest readers, the other side of the world that we ought to know so well. Starting from the complex workings in the shadows of the black market, to the truth on angels from across various cultures and religions and to the places you have to discover in our city, this magazine invites us to take a step further in discovering what is beyond.
“Behind the Wall” also wishes to give tribute to all the unsung heroes of our lives. This issue goes to all mothers who put us down to sleep at night, to all the unmarked graves of the heroes who fought for our freedom with bare hands and own blood, to all the blue-collared workers who are making our everyday lives easier without us appreciating their work, to all journalists who risk their lives just to get the news for us, and most especially, to our Creator, who made all of these things possible.
Lastly this magazine poses a challenge to all of us, to take a plunge and discover the world out there. Break boundaries, overcome your fears, exceed expectations, and be unchained from your limitations! Enjoy reading!
