• A fossil is a part of something once alive but now turned to stone; it can also be its imprint in stone.

• An artifact is something someone made long ago.

• A Custom is a habit or usual way of doing things amongst a particular people – a tradition.

• A fossil is a part of something alive that has been turned to stone or its imprint in stone

• An artifact is something someone made long ago.

• A Custom is a habit or usual way of doing things amongst a particular people – a tradition.

• A Culture is everything that makes up a people – it’s customs, beliefs, knowledge, and values.

• Primary source is something that was written at the time.

• Secondary Source is something that was written later.

• Values are ideas that people hold dear and try to live by.

Our warrior culture believes in bravery,

protecting the weak, personal strength,

and loyalty.

Our artistic culture believes in total acceptance of everyone, care of the

environment, and questioning authority.
