This new steel grit is made from bearing off-cut steel which maintains FORGING STATE, but not CASTING STATE.
• With the professional process of quenching, crushing, sieving and special heat treatments, such a grit shows angular shape with features of abrasive resistance and impact ductility.
• During the usage ,it is proved that the angular shape of the grit will gradually becomes arc, which is suitable for oxygenated surface descaling, surface cleaning and surface peening, so as to greatly improve the blasting efficiency and coating quality, and to reduce kinetic energy of paint, abrasive consumption and so on, as well as to prolong the life of wearing parts.

Bearings are made of high carbon steels. One of the factors that determine
the life of bearing steel is the purity or cleanliness of steel. The impurities are
removed through process such a vacuum degassing and consumable –
electrode vacuum melting while manufacturing bearing steel.

Chromium(Cr) is used in constructional alloy steels primarily to increase hardenability, provide
improved abrasion-resistance and to promote carburization. Of the common alloying elements
chromium is surpassed only by carbon, manganese and molybdenum in its effect on
hardenability. Chromium forms the most stable carbide of any of the more common alloying
elements, giving high-carbon chromium steels exceptional wear-resistance. Because its carbide
is relatively stable at elevated temperatures, chromium is frequently added to steel used for
high temperature applications.

2. Bearing Angular Steel Grit (SAE Standard)
GH: Hardness>60 HRC
Applied for granite gangsaw cutting, surface treatment for cold roll
and pre-treatment of metal parts.
GL: Hardness 53~60 HRC
Applied for removing corrosion surface, descaling, increasing roughness to
get better surface preparation for coating.
GP: Hardness 40~50 HRC
Applied for cleaning metal surface, such as casting parts.

3. Cr Steel Shot This Cr steel shot is made from Cr alloy materials which are fast atomized
after melting. • Cr steel shot gives a longer life and is more durable than traditional high
carbon steel shot because it is relatively crack free. With high carbon steel material, the shotting operation produces surface cracks which are extended in subsequent heat treatment. However,this does not occur in Cr shot because of its different structure.
• It has been proved that our Cr steel shot is suitable for descalling, cleaning
and peening of oxygenated surface . so as to greatly improve the blasting efficiency and coating quality, and to reduce kinetic energy of paint, abrasive consumption and so on, as well as to prolong the life of wearing parts.
• As Cr steel shot has a finer structure and does not have cracks. The
consumption has been reduced by more than 10-15 % in trials by our customers factories compared with traditional high carbon steel shot.

Cr Steel Shot High Carbon Steel Shot
The Cr steel shot is produced by melting Cr alloy Steel scrap with Centrifugation Method . The
microstructure after the Centrifugating process is a finer structure ,which is tough and durable. However,the high carbon shot is produced by using all kinds of scrap. Therefore the shot particles after atomizing into water are very hard with surface cracks. The shot has to be heat treated by quenching and tempering to remove the very coarse martensitic structure. During this process the surface cracks can be extended.
Advantages of using Cr steel Shot:

2,Suitable for oxygenated surface descaling, surface cleaning and surface peening, so as to greatly improve the blasting efficiency and coating quality, and to reduce kinetic energy of paint
