We answer to requests from airlines, airports or insurance companies in case of an aircraft incident anywhere in the world. Other than the conventional systems, which are currently in use with major airports or airlines, our recovery kit is specially developed for easy transport and quick utilization.

In fact, our recovery system for a mid-size airliner can be easily stowed in the luggage compartment of these same airliners. Therefore, we are able to reach a faster operating time than in case a conventional system is been transported in from another destination.

Besides our self-developed low-pressure lift bag system, we operate winching systems, transport mats and hoisting systems. Due to our ongoing relationship with major recovery and crane companies, we specialize in obtaining additional machinery in the vicinity of the airport, which makes us much more flexible. Due to the diverse specifications of our lift bags, we also assist existing aircraft recovery systems worldwide in case of special requests.

In our effort to respond immediately on any request, we have made all logistic preparations with various airlines at the airports of Amsterdam, Brussels, Liege and Cologne, in order to be able to respond 24 hours per day. Our vast knowledge of aircraft structures, together with the 10 years+ experience with crane- and recovery companies, together with a large experience with aircraft incidents, make BCG Aircraft Recoveries the right partner in the unfortunate event of an aircraft incident. BCG Aircraft Recoveries has gained wide experience in transport of disabled aircraft, with a number of successful operations, involving various aircraft sizes from and to different locations.

Justification of transporting disabled aircraft often depends on the economical, logistical and time limitation of its feasibility, but practically any transport can be accomplished, either by road, vessel or air transport.

BCG Aircraft Recoveries BV takes care of the full task of the transport and is on-hand at any level of the operation:

Due to our marketing and sales activities of our lift bags throughout Europe, we have collaborated and trained with a wide variety of large towing, crane and special transport companies. These local resources come of use in respect of transporting aircraft. Also, we are in close contact to a large number of Ro-Ro shipping lines, barge operators, yacht transporters, and all other players, which can get involved in sea transport.

Airports:

International airports, but also regional airports need to respond with assistance in case of an aircraft incident. Due that many have been privatized, airports are also increasingly focusing on cost reduction. In combination with our recovery services, we are offering very effective and cost redu-cing aircraft recovery procedures.

Instead of investing huge sums in recovery equipment, we support airports with proposing local procedures and possibilities, in combination with special recovery assistance from third party contractors. This enables airports to deal with accidents more effective. In our view this has a much higher priority with less investment involved.

Our Aircraft Recovery Procedure Manual (ARPM) is being performed, customized for each airport and includes a survey into the following areas:

Airlines:

BCG Aircraft Recoveries offers ‘ Recovery Audits’ to airlines to audit designated airports in the aircraft recovery preparations.

Availability of specialized tooling, together with the availability of local sources, are the main items of the audit, but its content can be modified to customer’s requirement.

Being prepared for the unfortunate event of an accident pays off at the moment it occurs.

BCG Aircraft Recoveries uses its own expertise to be prepared in the most efficient way.
