Compatibility
• pH from 3–10
• Compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients including common synthetic and natural thickeners like Carbopol® and Xanthan gum, polar solvents like ethanol
• Depending on their charge density, cationic polymers may be incompatible with Baycusan® C 1000
• Supports only low level of electrolytes and PBSA (~1%)
Others
• Add at the end of product process below 40°C
• Homogenize before addition of Baycusan® C 1000 as prolonged strong shear may break sown polymer chain
• Reactor can be cleaned with polar emollients such as C 12–13 Alkyl Lactate, Dibutyl Adipate, C 12–15 Alkyl Benzoate
