Haydon Cha Cha Jewel has always been special, a favourite and lovely mare. She was an attractive foal and is out of Hall of Fame mare Haydon Angel Jewel’s half-sister. When started she was rated at the top of her group. She progressed on well to young horse and slow chukkas. In 2015 she won tournaments at Scone and in 2016 stepped up to play at Ellerston and won a BPP at Scone. She is the complete package with the ability to play at the top level or in lower goal polo. She has an international pedigree with her sire siring a winner of the Argentine Open and her dam's half sister winning the Argentine Triple Crown.

Her dam Haydon Dancing Jewel was retained as a broodmare being a half-sister to renowned international polo mare Haydon Angel Jewel, rated as Adolfo Cambiaso’s best mare outside Argentina. She is the mother of Royal Show winner Midland Pedro; Haydon Rumba, dam of Haydon Zorba winner of the Yearling Colt at 2012 Nationals & Champion Led Stallion Brisbane 2014; Haydon Disco purchased by Australian polocrosse captain Cameron Shepherd, 2013 filly Haydon Can Can Jewel, 2015 filly Salsa Jewel and 2016 filly Flamingo.

Haydon Dancing Jewel other sisters include; Champion polocrosse mare Haydon Bush Jewel played by April Leggett and the dam of her champion mare Tanzanite Jewel and Haydon Penny Jewel mother of many show champions; Broodmare Haydon Tourmaline mother of Haydon Victoriana who played the Argentine Open in 2010, Haydon Dunkirk award winning polocrosse gelding and the good playing young mares Haydon Pandora, Haydon Crystalline and Haydon Argyle, 2014 filly Haydon Jubilee, 2015 colt Haydon Oracle and 2016 colt Haydon Spartacus; Broodmare Haydon Special Jewel, dam of Haydon Saturn sold at the 2011 colt sale and rated as the best colt he had started by Warwick Turner, Haydon Techtonic played polocrosse by Paul McGrath, his full-sisters Haydon Treasure and Haydon Ornament and kept as a broodmare Haydon Saffron Jewel.

Cha Cha’s grand-dam Haydon Emerald as well as being a top producing mare played right up to Test level and was an exceptional ability mare. Her 3rd dam Haydon Trinket was one of the great producing mares of the breed with 17 progeny including Haydon Emerald and her full-sister Champion polo mare Haydon Pearl and Haydon Necklace, Champion mare at the 1986 Polocrosse Nationals played by Les Fraser. Her family traces back to Countess by Planet, Bernard Haydon’s top mare in the 1880 and has established itself as one of the best old Bloomfield families.

Her sire Murrabong Victory has produced many top horses including; Haydon Victoriana exported to Argentina in 2010 where she was played to win the Argentine Open by 10 goaler Pelon Sterling in the 40 goal La Dolfina team and has since played the high goal in England & has been used in their embryo programme. Haydon Velvet played by Glen Gilmore and overseas, Haydon Luna won a BPP at Quirindi, was runner up in the Sledmere Cup and BPP at the Scone League, Haydon Night Diva winner 2014 Nat Buchanan Trophy, 2012 Champion Open Ladies Horse Qld, SE Qld Best A Grade Ladies horse and other many other polocrosse carnival awards, Haydon Dunkirk winner of polocrosse prizes, Haydon La Nina played at Ellerston, Haydon Shower, Haydon Elm playing overseas, Haydon Barrabucci played at Ellerston, Haydon Special Jewel, a half sister to Angel Jewel retained as a broodmare, Haydon Moon Lady, Haydon Night Time retained as a broodmare, Haydon Opalet, Haydon Erassmus, Haydon Queen Jewel, Haydon Mellie, Haydon Safari, Haydon April played good polo, Haydon Finch played at Ellerston and won prizes, Haydon Eve BPP ASH at Wirragulla, the stallions Haydon Image, Haydon Galaxy and Haydon Cascade, Haydon Cha Cha Jewel BPP winner & very special mare, Haydon Diana, Haydon Faith, Haydon Hummingbird and BPP winner Haydon Esprit won the 2016 Australian Open, Haydon Vital,etc.

Haydon Angel Jewel played by the world’s leading 10 goal player Adolfo Cambiaso has won all the top tournaments in the world; The Argentine Triple Crown, British Open twice, Queens Cup, USA Gold Cup three times and Spanish Triple Crown twice.
