Uppercase Letters

• When writing a sentence, make sure the first letter is upper case.

• Good:Today is a good day.

• Bad:my friend likes cheese

Fixed: My friend likes cheese.

Uppercase

• Don’t put uppercase letters on a regular noun, verb or adjective

• Good:This is a normal sentence.

• Bad:This Sentence is not Correct.

Fixed: This sentence is not correct.

Uppercase

• Don’t put uppercase letters in the middle of a word.

• Good:My mother works all day.

• Bad:Today’s luNch is fisH

Fixed: Today’s lunch is fish.

Proper Nouns

• Proper nouns (names) need to start with an uppercase letter!

• Good:My mother’s name is Kathy.

• Bad:I went to busan and saw big bang.

Fixed: I went to Busan and saw Big Bang.

• These three letters (g, y and p) should drop below the line on your paper.

Please remember to use a period at the end of every sentence.
