Wellbeing
Principal’s Message I would like to thank all the staff, students and families who attended the post school options night last Thursday. This is such an important opportunity for students and families to meet with the agency representatives as they begin to consider the options available after students leave school. We are looking forward to celebrating with our Deb students next week. Tickets will be available until tomorrow morning. If you are thinking of coming please make sure you purchase them today using the QKR app or come into the school office. Anne Hume Principal

Whole School Bowling is back!! Following the success of the 2016 and 2017 Barwon Valley Whole School Bowling event, we have decided to do it all again! On Wednesday the 29th of August we will be making our way to the Geelong Bowling Lanes for our Term 3 House competition. Classes will depart BVS approximately 11:00 a.m. and we will be Bowling from 11:30 -12:15 and returning to BVS by 12:45. Please dress your child in their house colours and shoes with non-marking soles and if their group is walking down please put in a warm jacket. To ensure the success of this event we are asking for parents/carers to support us by assisting classes with their walk to the bowling lanes and/or supporting your child whilst there. If you are able to provide assistance for all or part of this event please inform class-room staff via your child’s diary. Thank you and hope to see many of you there J
