Lease return and subsequent registration and certification in USA of Boeing 767-300ER from Blue Panorama Airlines in Rome on behalf of ITOCHU AirLease BV.

Lease return and subsequent certification of two Boeing 737-800 a/c from Sterling International Airlines to Transavia France on behalf of ITOCHU AirLease BV.

Assisting TUI Nederland BV (Trade name ArkeFly) in monitoring the build and subsequent certification in the Netherlands of a Boeing 737-800 in Seattle (Sept – Oct-07). Carried out quality inspections, concluded resolutions with Boeing and compiled JAR 26 and JAR-OPS subpart K and L substantiations.

2002-2004 Technical Manager Farnair Europe BV Appointed as Technical Manager, initially full time but as the company’s fleet has been

reduced to only 2 a/c, at present on a 20% basis. Responsibilities:

To ensure that the fleet remains airworthy by selecting and monitoring maintenance providers. In addition to ensure that the fleet performs to the reliability standards as stipulated by the customers and internal company standards, within budget constraints. Ensuring the maintenance management system is carried out in accordance with the approved MME, and that this is reflected in CAA audits. Duties: Intense technical and operational interaction with maintenance providers and flight departments. Compilation of annual maintenance budgets and adherence thereto. Interaction with Aviation Authorities as JAR-OPS Maintenance postholder. Control of maintenance related costs. Managing of projects. Latest projects have been: Heavy checks on F-27 freighters. Storage and sale of A300 freighters, including condition checks and records. Termination of line maintenance operation at CDG with turnover of spares stocks and office administration and related interaction with service providers. Acting deputy MD.

2002 Aircraft Surveyor Self Employed Involved as a free lance aviation consultant in a lease return project for Itochu AirLease.

The project consisted of the return to lessor of two Rolls-Royce powered Boeing 757-200’s, previously operated by Iberia and lasted four months. The aircraft were taken into maintenance to make them meet lease return conditions. Additionally, the aircraft were modified to be ETOPS certifiable. Special emphasis was put on typical high cost matters such as engines, landing gears and structural repairs.

Duties: Monitor and supervise maintenance activities on both aircraft. Meet with maintenance staff

and maintenance management to secure work standards. Monitor and take observations during engine test runs and test flights. Survey aircraft records and interact with engineering staff to make the records meet lease return conditions. Assist new lessee to certify the aircraft on Icelandic register, this involved interacting with the Icelandic CAA representative.

2001 – 2002 General Manager Qualitair Engineering Holland BV Responsibilities: Secure the company ´s cash flow and financial results in general in order to be in a

position to expand market share and profit prospects. Operate the company in close co-operation with the British parent company with mutually agreed strategic goals.

Duties: Manage the permanent staff and flexible staff. Develop business plan and business

strategy, set strategic targets. Acquire new business relations up to a point where actual business can be done. Maintain the network of existing business relations in order to develop to a level of partnership rather than supplier of manpower. Manage service providers in order to support the operation of the company at a competitive level. Manage re-investment of profits to the company´s benefit.

Interesting projects:

• Acquiring a RFQ and bidding on a long term contract with a defence department with excellent prospects.

• Re-defining business strategy after 11 September backfall. 1994-2001 Fleet manager Martinair Maintenance & engineering Responsibilities:

Satisfactory results from both line operations and hangar maintenance in terms of target technical dispatch reliability, incident rate, etc. Fleet responsibility for Boeing 747, 3 off, and Fokker 70, 14 off, operated by KLM Cityhopper and Dutch Government. Fleet management of the Boeing 747 fleet was being carried out from a JAR-OPS subpart M perspective. Fleet management of the Fokker 70 fleet was being carried out from a JAR-145 perspective.

Duties: Periodic meetings with flight departments on operational and technical level. Periodic meetings with customers and maintenance contractors. Ensuring that commitments to customers are being fulfilled. Take corrective actions when reliability or cost targets are not being met. Ensure that all work is being performed as per applicable contracts, therefore procedure manuals are written and maintained. Project management of major hangar projects such as C- and D-checks, phase-in and sale of a/c.

locations as project leader, following the reorganisation of the entire engineering department.

Keeping the maintenance programme up to the required standards by evaluating manufacturers and vendor issued bulletins and documentation and in-service experience. Providing maintenance production support in events such as accidents, AOG’s and “beyond manual” situations. Duties: Updating maintenance programme. Providing engineering assistance to production units in hangar and shop maintenance and AOG support. Considerable amount of work were B-747 C- and D-checks and ageing a/c mod and CPCP programmes. Conducting surveys on aircraft for customers. Design and draw up of a/c structural repair instructions and DER approval thereof, usually provided by the a/c manufacturer.

Interesting projects: • Assisting in the sale of 4 B-747 ´s in terms of phase-out program and documentation • Assisting in the sale of 10 F-27 ´s in terms of phase-out program and documentation • Assisting in the recovery of a belly landed F-27. • Assisting in a remote AOG at MNL of a B-747 with wing primary structure damage.
