DesPortes of Winnsboro, which took place at 8:30 p.m., May 9 in Trinity Episcopal church in Columbia. The Rev. George M .Alexander, rector, officiated in the presence of a large as- semblage of relatives and friends. Daisies banked the candlelight- .ed altar, and there were palms, l in the chancel. Robert L. VanDoren, organist,', I and Trinity church choir furnish- ed the wedding music. Before the ceremony Mr. VanDoren played "Prelude to Act I of Lohengrin" (Wagner), "Prelude to Tristan I ja:nd Isolde," "Traume" (Wagn:r) .and "Romance" (Vierne). He also played "Prelude to the Third Act. , of "Lohengrin" prior to the pro- cessional, "Bridal Chorus," which was sung by the choir who enter- ed from the' front of the church preceeding the wedding party and led by the crucifer, James I i Sims. At the co~clusio~, of th.e I Iceremony the choir sang 0 Pel- 'fect Love" (Barnby) while the [ bride and bridegroom were kneeling. "Weddi~g :t;'larch"fro~ "Midsummer NIght s Dream (Mendelssohn) was used for .the recessional. I Mac Hines and Ed - Mullins served as acolytes. The usher - groomsmen w ere, James E.
